Monarch Gold Leaf 23 Kt Loose (Pack)

Monarch gold leaf is a high quality leaf product made in Germany since 1996. This leaf is manufactured specifically in the colors and weights that have become the standards in the industry. Thirty-three varieties of leaf, including double weight, patent and silver, are packaged in the distinctive Monarch blue box (pack of 20 books). This leaf is produced using the latest technology and respected traditions of the German gold beating craft.

A book of Loose gold leaf is assembled by placing each unit of gold leaf between sheets of thin rouged paper. The gilder can then remove one leaf at a time without disturbing the remaining leaves. It is removed from the book with a gilder's tip, a flat natural hair brush.

Gold leaf is 85 x 85 mm (3-3/8 x 3-3/8 inches) and is available in units called "books," each book containing 25 leaves. For volume discounts order one or more "packs" of gold leaf; each pack contains 20 books or 500 leaves.
