Rublev Colours Introductory Palette introduces natural earth colors used since the early Renaissance. These colors can be blended and used interchangeably with other oil colors.

Rublev Colours Artists' Oils are based on single, natural mineral and historical pigments that give old masters-like painting effects in oil. This series features such rare colors as natural ultramarine (lapis lazuli), azurite, and malachite, among many others. The paint is handcrafted and packed in 50 ml tubes—giving you 33% more color than typical 37 ml tubes.

The Introductory Palette includes one full-sized tube each of four colors: Verona Green Earth, Lemon Ocher, Pozzuoli Red, Cyprus Umber Dark and Venetian Medium. 	530-31008	Venetian Medium is an oil-painting medium based on the research that 16th century Venetian painters added powdered glass to their paint. Venetian Medium contains leaded crystal glass powder, the palest bodied linseed oil, sun-thickened walnut oil with small amounts of wax, odorless mineral spirits and lead drier. Spread thinly onto the surface and paint directly into it as a couch or add directly to paint nut. Smooths the edges of brush or knife strokes.
