Rublev Colours Natural Orpiment is an opaque yellow with very good tinting strength, brushes "long" in the direction of the brush stroke, and medium to large grained. Our orpiment is from natural mineral deposits in Asia, which is said to be more permanent and lightfast than the artificial yellow arsenic sulfide, known as King's Yellow.
