When an Item is Out of Stock

When you order an item from the store that is not in stock at the time of your order, we will notify you of the item's disposition. At that time you may decide to do one of two things: You may cancel your order for that item. For more information on canceling all or part of an order, see the section on Canceling or Changing an Order.

Backorders

Your second option is to keep your order for that item open and we place it on backorder for you. When a backordered item becomes available, we notify you before we fulfill your backorder. Keeping an item on backorder has benefits:

• You are guaranteed to receive the item when it is available at the same price when you ordered it.
• You will be among the first to be notified of its availability.
• You can be assured of getting the item.

Remember, if you pay by credit card, your account will not be charged until we actually ship the item.
